Britney Spears’ Husband Sam Asghari Confirms Their Marriage Is Over

Britney Spears and her husband Sam Asghari, who got married in June 2022, have confirmed they’re ending their marriage. It turns out that Asghari had filed for divorce, and it was revealed that he’s now fighting the singer on the prenup they signed before tying the knot.

According to an insider, Asghari is threatening to publicly reveal embarrassing information about Britney Spears unless she pays him. However, Sam’s rep, Brian Cohen, said that none of this is true. He stated, “All these claims are false, as no negative intention has ever been directed towards her and never will be.”

In the middle of all the drama, Asghari posted an Instagram video on August 17th. He explained that after six years together, he and Britney had decided to end things on a good note, and they still have love and respect for each other. He also asked the media to be kind and thoughtful.

The Singer’s Response

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari met in 2016 on the set of the singer’s “Slumber Party” music video. Asghari proposed in 2021. Britney has not spoken about the divorce yet, but she continues to be active on Instagram. She recently shared a photo of herself smiling and riding a horse. She even declared she wanted to buy one soon.

Another photograph she posted was a piece of artwork of two people looking at a bottle in which a third, small person was trapped. She wrote, “How do you read this??? It’s interesting!!! I see it as a message in a bottle!!! Or a baby who needs to get out!!! They whisper the poison like in Alice in Wonderland and wait to see if they have the cure!!! Wise birds know who they are.” The singer’s representatives were contacted for a comment, but Britney has not officially addressed the situation herself.
