You must be living under a rock if you haven’t heard about the beef between Cher and Madonna. There’s even archival footage of Cher calling the Queen of Pop “mean.” However, the “Believer” singer shares that she holds no grudges against Madonna. Read on to find out more about the situation.

The Situation Between Cher and Madonna

Recently, Madonna’s new Celebration tour featured an archival interview in which Cher called her “mean.” In an interview, Cher actually explained that she liked the Queen of Pop. She did indeed share that Madonna “can be mean” and stated she had even used worse words.

However, Madonna has apparently forgiven her, and it was all left in the past. Cher also admitted that no one else could make trends like Madonna. When asked to share what “worse words” she had used, the “Strong Enough” singer simply said, “Look it up.” Fans think she probably meant to describe Madonna as a “spoiled brat.”

Is the Beef Over?

Cher has made numerous comments about Madonna that have often been seen as shady. Back in 2018, the singer was a guest on Ellen DeGeneres’ show. While playing a game, Ellen asked the singer to name three artists she would love to collaborate with. The answer was “Adele, Pink, and, um, not Madonna.”

Well, we kind of understand the situation given that Cher had to answer in only five seconds. We guess it didn’t take her that long to think about it. The singer has recently released her first holiday album Christmas. This is also her first album of original material in a decade. In 2013, she also released Closer to the Truth. We’re glad to see that Cher’s still chugging along and leaving the past in the past.

All About the Holy Dance Crew – Africa's Top Dancing Crew

Holy Dance Crew – The Beginning

In his early years, Esai saw all of his friends become members of a gang. In fact, he said, four out of five children in Kampala were street gang members at that time. But he leaned in, even when he was bullied at school for not joining the gangs. He knew something had to be done to show future generations that there was a way out of this lifestyle.

So, instead of becoming one of the gang members, he decided to establish a dance crew at his school. Dancing was his way to fight back. The perseverance of this person attracted other kids who felt the same way. Before long, he was dancing along with friends and his younger brother. Before they knew it, the Holy Dance Crew was born.
