Enrique Iglesias Fans ‘Forced to Control Laughter’ Experiencing How He Actually Sounds Live

Imagine going to a concert to see Enrique Iglesias, only to be shocked into laughter by what you hear. That’s what happened to a fan of the singer as she sat front row at one of the Trilogy tour shows.

Enrique Iglesias’ Journey

From his debut in 1995 to the present day, Enrique Iglesias has been a musical powerhouse, boasting 11 studio albums and over 70 million records sold globally. With five top-five Billboard hits, including two chart-toppers, he’s etched his name among the best-selling Latin music artists.

At 48, this Madrid-born sensation shows no signs of slowing down. Currently performing on the Trilogy world tour alongside Ricky Martin and Pitbull, Enrique continues to captivate audiences worldwide. At least, that’s what people thought was happening.

Performance Leaves Fans Confused

However, it seems that the tour may not be going that well for Iglesias. Ariel Diaz shared a video on TikTok of him singing, saying she was “actively having to control her laughter” while he was singing “Escape.”

Fans who saw the video were super confused, wondering whether it was an impersonator rather than the real Enrique Iglesias. Another said that their 20+ year crush on him was no more. While some said he’s always been bad, many defended him, saying he sounded good in the past.

Enrique’s Encore Mystery

Some fans even tried to chalk it up to technical issues, but that theory was debunked when Ricky Martin sounded great later on in the night. It seems that both Enrique’s voice and his fashion sense are stuck in 2008.

Let’s hope that the poor performance was just a fluke and not the norm, but the video has definitely made fans hesitate to buy tickets to the tour. Only time will tell.
