Katy Perry Jokingly Approves of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Romantic Relationship

There’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are deep in the throes of a new and exciting relationship. When photos popped up of them in the early days, many were quick to show their support, including Taylor’s enemy-turned-friend Katy Perry.

Katy Perry Shows Support for Taylor

While it’s hard not to hear about the two’s relationship nowadays, back in October they were still keeping things hush-hush when Vogue shared a photo of them out and about in New York City post-SNL. Katy was quick to show her support.

She liked the photo and even commented “I ship.” As you may remember, the two pop stars had a feud a while back over backup dancers, which provided inspiration for “Swish Swish” and “Bad Blood,” but an olive branch was extended in the form of Katy showing up in Taylor’s “You Need to Calm Down” music video.

The Bad Vibes Are Gone

In an interview with Howard Stern in 2020, Katy Perry talked about how she was glad that they could publicly bury the hatchet and be a good example for younger girls.

Katy also opened up about how now both singers are friendly with each other and can talk about what each one wants openly. That’s probably why Katy was so happy for her friend and her new boyfriend!

Young Love Is Blooming

There’s absolutely no doubt in anyone’s mind nowadays that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are an official item. The young couple have already been spotted multiple times in New York City, walking together, holding hands, and leaving various restaurants.

Taylor has gone to several of Travis’ games, and Travis has gone to several of her shows. There seems to be a lovely glow around the two, and Katy Perry clearly recognized it when it was still in its early days post-SNL.
