Post Malone Has Revealed a Drastic Weight Loss, Getting Fans Worried
The 27-year-old singer Post Malone has noticeably shed several pounds recently, and a recent video of him in a T-shirt and shorts during a performance in Australia has had some fans worried about his well-being and overall health. Some thought that the cause could be illness, while others had other ideas.
Post Malone Has Lost Weight
In response to a different clip, a commenter noted that Post Malone had lost a considerable amount of weight, with another one concurring that he appeared to be getting thinner. But Malone, whose real name is Austin Post, is reportedly – actually doing quite well. Apparently, he had gained weight for a movie role but has been following a diet and exercise regimen ever since.
Since September, Malone has been on tour, and it’s possible that his 90-minute set, which involves a lot of running around on stage, is contributing to his weight loss. In fact, Malone’s father, Rich Post, reassured concerned fans in an Instagram comment that his son is currently in the best shape he’s been in for years, both mentally and physically.
Malone Is as Healthy as Ever
In 2020, Malone found himself in a comparable predicament when fans became concerned for his well-being for a different reason. Back then, he fell onstage while performing “I Fall Apart” in a video that went viral. However, during a concert in Los Angeles, the singer reassured his fans that he felt better than ever before. He also attributed his ability to perform daring stunts during his shows to his excellent physical condition.
After a nasty onstage fall in September 2022, during a show in St. Louis, the Grammy-nominated singer of “Circles” was hospitalized. Videos captured by fans showed Malone walking down a ramp when he unexpectedly stepped into an uncovered hole, causing him to fall to the stage and moan in agony. At the time, he expressed his apologies for canceling a subsequent Boston concert just an hour before it was scheduled to begin, citing difficulty breathing and a stabbing pain whenever he moved or drew breath. Following the incident, Malone’s team released a statement saying that he had sustained injuries to his ribs and back and would require some time to recover before he could resume touring.
On a different note, Post Malone and his fiancé, whose name he keeps a secret for the sake of their privacy, welcomed their first daughter in May 2022. The couple has also kept the details of their daughter’s birth and life away from the public eye.
