She writes from the heart, and people can almost always tell when she has written a hit song about a fling of hers, as she has many. Matt Healy recently addressed the newest dating rumors about her.

Matthew Timothy Healy is 34 and the lead vocalist of the pop rock band The 1975. He’s a looker born in England and what some would call an inspiration. He is a rare talent and likes ruffling feathers with his music. Most recently, he was tied to Taylor Swift in a dating rumor frenzy.

A Tease During Performance

During his live performance on BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend Festival, Matt teased the crowd mercilessly about dating rumors that have spread about him and “Lover” singer Taylor Swift. He wanted people to focus on the performance before them and enjoy the music his group, The 1975, had to offer instead of drilling in on the rumors.

Taylor Swift Rumors Seemingly Addressed

Taylor and Matty first sparked rumors they were dating in May when fans spotted Matt at Swift’s Nashville concert. Back then, it was said the couple had been dating for a couple of months and were madly in love, but neither young performer confirmed or denied the relationship. Later, they were also spotted kissing in New York, but still, no confirmation came.

Although Taylor Swift did not confirm anything solid, she did mention at her concert that week that not just the tour was making her extremely happy. She also said she wasn’t sure she should say anything more to them, but it feels like her life finally makes sense!
