Meet Lisa Miller

Lisa Miller was a high school senior living in Buffalo, New York. Being the eldest of three kids, she resided in a family home with their loving mom and a friendly tabby cat.

Lisa’s family was small, not having any close cousins or other relatives nearby. Her grandparents lived quite a long distance away, a full two hours by airplane, making it hard for them to come for a visit. Lisa didn’t have a lot of knowledge about them, and her grandmother always seemed to her to be a bit mysterious in nature. How accurate her perception was became apparent to Lisa when the time for her prom night rolled around.

The Night of Nights

Although she was just a high school senior with many obligations, the one thing that Lisa couldn’t stop thinking about was the approaching prom night. This would certainly be the most significant event in her young life and the anticipation for it to arrive was overwhelming. Despite months still being left until the big night, it was all that she could think about.

There was absolutely nothing that would stand in the way of a magnificent night – at least, that’s what she believed.

Shopping for the perfect dress was likely to be a challenge, yet Lisa and her group of friends were resolute in their mission to snag the ideal frocks prior to them being sold out for the period.

Being part of the prom’s planning team, the girls already had an idea about the theme and the style of dresses that would suit the event. With this knowledge, they made their way into town, visiting selected boutiques that they knew would have the perfect gowns for the occasion.
